Dr. Melissa Fritsche

A unique love and vision
for her patients.

My vision for your care focuses on you as a whole person. I believe that recovery is about redefining life goals, not just abstinence from a substance. I work hard to understand your story, help you define your recovery goals, and patiently stand by you through the long and not always linear journey to recovery. Addiction is a “bio-psycho-social-spiritual” disease. Mel-Med Recovery Plans include medication to support the very real symptoms of dependence and withdrawal. Psychological support is recommended through therapy and self-help groups. Community involvement is encouraged through education and outside activities that bring joy. Meditation, community service and self-care are routine parts of recovery. If you are wondering how to make a change, come on in, let’s talk about where you are on your journey and explore what might work for you together.
