Opiate Recovery
I treat opiate use disorder with a daily medication called buprenorphine (Suboxone) or with monthly injections like Vivitrol or Sublocade. I can help folks “detox” from street drugs to get onto these medications. I also love to help folks taper off these medications once they are well established in their recovery!
I treat alcohol use disorder with several different daily medications or a monthly injectable medication called Vivitrol. Some alcohol use patients aren’t ready to stop drinking, but want help controlling their drinking. There are medications that can help with that. I also help folks that are worried about withdrawal symptoms with at home “detox”, if it is a safe option for them.
